“Lake Winnebago overcast”

If you're from Neenah, you have seen Lake Winnebago from this vantage point. It's at the Far East end of Wisconsin Ave. I frequently stop here to view the lake after visiting my 84 year old dad and his wife, on my way back to Menasha.

On days like this one, it's so overcast that you can't clearly see Kimberly Point from this location. Still, I can't help but find the subtle variance In the shades of light intoxicating. I had to paint it.
