Sometimes, doing something as mundane as switching a channel on the radio from AM to FM is all the inspiration I need to form an image or idea in my head of what I want to paint.

In this case, I switched from listening to a game on the radio to music on an FM station. Shortly thereafter, I began painting “wavelength”, with no real plan in mind.
